Mortgage agent

We are looking for mortgage professionals to join our rapidly expanding, energetic team with the potential to develop a career in an established national company.  If you are self-managing, independent and comfortable earning a commission income, CENTUM may be for you.  Minimum 2 years experience required.

To be successful in this position, you should ideally possess:

• Previous mortgage or Banking Lending experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Financial comprehension
• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Answering mortgage related questions
• Creating the right finance solutions and providing approvals for your clients.
• Writing and submitting deals to lenders.
• Following up on transactions.
• Hiring support staff as needed.
• Sourcing new business and referral sources.

Working Conditions:
- This role operates within a home office environment.
- This role requires local travel.

Requirements:
- Must be able to prospect and develop own sources of mortgage referrals from a variety of sources such as Realtors, Builders, Financial Services Companies, etc.
- Demonstrated time management and planning skills with an ability to organize the day with activities that contribute to the overall goal of mortgage production.
- Proven track record in sales, with a sound understanding of the local market.
